Background Info

Sylvia Pielok

I am a CIMA qualified Management Accountant and have been working in financial jobs for over fifteen years now. My first Finance job was working for a small charity in London, where I learnt a lot about running an office, working with a fantastic group of people and was introduced to bookkeeping and Sage Line 50! Following from that and after relocating to the beautiful Dorset I enrolled on a bookkeeping course in 2001 and then continued to study with AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) achieving NVQ Level 4 in 2005. I was then also working for a global company when I started studying for CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) and achieved my Advanced Diploma in MA in 2010. I completed my studies in 2013 with a full qualification and became CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant) with CIMA and AICPA (Association of International Certified Professional Accountants).

In the meantime I have been bringing up my son, who is my biggest pride and joy and also co-running BIG (Bournemouth Interpreters’ Group CIC) on voluntary basis, in my capacity of Finance Director.

I now work with my own clients and really enjoy the professional relationships and the difference my services make to your business. Here’s to a prosperous future!
